There are a lot of reasons why we gain weight, the most common reason being bad eating habits. Lack of free time and the development of processed food marketing have made from us slaves of unhealthy food.
Let’s talk about snacks. When you go to cinema or when you watch a TV movie you are used to eat popcorn or different crackers and fizzy drinks, aren’t you? This is bad because eating these snacks you will favor weight gain through calories excess.
Avoid sweet snacks (chocolate, icecream). These snacks will supply body with more and more calories and are “bad” because of their sugar content.
Replace snacks with water, it has no calorie and helps in detoxification. Also if you want to avoid calories from snacks you can replace them with raw fruits or vegetables, these are a healthy eating, full of vitamins and minerals.
What about meals? All meals are important and must be respected. Never miss one of them! (breakfast is the most important, then lunch and finnaly dinner). Avoid consistent dinner, eat healthy and food easily digestible. Eat dinner with three or four hours before bedtime for a healthy and quiet sleep.
Don’t be sedentary! Make exercises or gymnastics at least 4 times a week. These will help you to burn calories quickly and will train your muscle tissue, transforming fat into muscles.
Don’t eat fast food or fat food. These not only brings fat and a lot of calories but also different and serious diseases like: obesity, cardiovascular problems and diabetes.
If you gain weight due to bad food habits try to remove them. It’s time for a correct diet and a healthy weight.
Try to make new food habits:
- drink a glass of water with lemon juice in the morning, when you wake up, on an empty stomach;
- make exercises every day and walk about one hour a day;
- eat fruits after four hours you ate last time;
- drink water (at least 2 liters daily);- avoid processed, fat and fast food.
