Forget The Pizza Chains! It’s Time for Yuppy Pizza

Ordering pizza from all of the pizza chains is getting old and I am tired of them! I decided to make some of my own pizzas that are different from the ordinary you can get delivered to your door. I have also noticed since what I call the “Pizza Wars” have started, selling $5.00 pizzas with pepperoni only the quality has greatly diminished. Yuch, nasty stuff in my opinion!

My Pizza Recipe I want to share with you is my Yuppy Pizza! Easy to make and very tasty!

Ingredients:

1. Boboli Bread or Pillsbury pizza dough (Found in the biscuit section in the store)

2. Feta Cheese

3. Fresh Tomatoes

4. Cheese for topping, Mozzarella or bagged 3 cheese mixture

5. Parmesan Cheese – Sprinkle canned type

6. Whatever toppings you want! I prefer Onions and chicken and pepperoni (good for cleaning out some of those things in the refrigerator! )

7. Spices of choice. I use a little garlic salt, oregano, and onion powder. A premade Italian seasoning is also very good.

Directions:

1. Prepare Dough in a pizza pan or a cookie sheet

2. On top of dough, sprinkle Feta Cheese on it to your liking. I love to pile it on!

3. Cut tomatoes into thin slices and place on top of feta covering the pizza dough.

4. Add meat (I like to add meat here but you can also wait and top with the meat)

5. Cover now with Mozzarella Cheese ( I like a lot of cheese so I really add a lot but you can add to your taste)

6. Add Toppings, this is where I like to add Onions or Veggies so they cook well.

7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

8. Add spices of choice

9. Bake in 375 degree oven until dough is cooked or all cheese is melted and it is nice and hot if you used Boboli!

I hope you enjoy this recipe. I love making this for my family. I think the Feta Cheese is the best part when the tomato cooks and the juices get into the Feta. Yum!

This is a great pizza for parties as you can cut into small pieces and they can snack on this. I think this is a healthy alternative to a lot of the junk foods out there and I am sure that there is much less sodium in this pizza!

Go get on your old bell bottoms and grow a mullet and then it is Yuppy pizza time! Have a Yuppy Pizza party where all the guests make their own pizzas and share. How fun would this be?
